the notice of His Excellency the Officer

Administering the Government, the

case

of I. P. C. 595, Sant Ram, with a view to his receiving

superannuation allowance under Section IV of Ordinance

8 of 1869.

This Constable on the 2nd December

1886 arrested, as he was running away,

one Chan Kum who was waiting trial at the Supreme Court on

a charge of larceny with violence. The prisoner shot the Constable in the groin,

the latter retained his hold:
